Later, at Chobe

We started by watching graceful Impala

Then we disturbed a very cross lion

He did not approve of our presence

And this is the reason

He had a lady friend who was in an amorous mood

He really wanted to be left alone with her

So we went off to look at some Kudu

and some Warthogs

On the lake at Chobe

We went for a ride on a boat similar to this one

As well as Elephants
we saw buffalo

Fish Eagles

Crocodiles

(Staying on the bank, guarding eggs)

There was a comment on this elephant.

"As you can see, our elephants have five legs. Very stable - never fall over."

We saw many hippo and this one gave a "yawning threat"

It was quite good at "yawning threats"...

..it looked like its head would disappear!

We finally got back as darkness approached

Heading on to Maun

The road was good, but relentlessly straight and even.

A certain amount of stoicism is needed!
